NEWPORT, RI – This past weekend, Arlington Rugby Club travelled down to Fort Adams State Park in Newport to once again battle for the prestigious tournament crown. After their defeat last year to Worcester in the semi-finals, Arlington hit the field with determination. With veteran player Aidan Dunn scoring a hat trick and the ever stalwart defense of Rose Winter, Arlington went undefeated for the day, getting their revenge in the finals against a hard running Worcester squad, thwarting their attacks to finally claim the cup (and the pineapple). Lucas Patience took home MVP by touching down two tries in the final.
