ARLINGTON, MA – For the first time in nearly a decade, rugby was once again competitively played on Arlington soil. On Sunday, Arlington Rugby Club hosted it’s first ever Spring 7s tournament, with NERC, Sharks and the Wolfhounds making the trip to Magnolia Park to compete. The Arlington squad played well, putting together some nice bits of rugby on occasion… but size and experience would ultimately win the day. After the tackle games concluded, Arlington’s flag players took to the field for a scrimmage against the South Shore Sharks (with a few coaches and tackle players joining in on the fun as well).
Thank you Chris Chaber for the awesome photos from the tackle matches, and to all the clubs for coming up in wet conditions to make it all possible.
